I had no idea of that

They have these routes planned:
LHR - ATL
LHR - BNA
LHR - SEA
LHR - DFW

Most of those routes are the 78X taking over 772 services or 789 services to move them over newer routes etc

Ooh. Last time I did that route was on a Virgin Atlantic A340-600…

If Gatwick is getting these then cool! If not then meh…

I think they won’t because they only retrofitted the 777s based there like a year ago. BA supposedly only thought of adding more old 777s from Heathrow sadly. Gatwick as a secondary hub always gets the old stuff :frowning:

Gatwick never gets the planes, they’ll get 2 refurbished 772s. Or some 772s will be outright retired and scrapped
